Adwords said my ads are running but I don't see them!

    I started with adwords yesterday. in my control panel it says that all of my ads and keywords are active but I do not see any results when i type my keywords in google. I also looked at my reports and it shows zero impressions. What gives!

    It depends what your keyword is. If it's a really popular one, like dating/poker, etc..., it'll take a while before anything of yours shows up, and you'll be less likely to get impressions.

    Put the price up high first to force you keywords on and then when you see them back off the price.

    I hope that the suggestions that the other guys give you help. But I experienced a similar situation and it took lots of emails and phone calls to google to learn that my account had been banned!

    Don't get me wrong. It was my fault. When I 1st started out in InetMkg back in early '06, I didn't know my head from my a$$ and was trying to send affiliate traffic for "make money online" and "online colleges" by bidding on keywords like "myspace" and "free ringtones".

    Google gets more covert and secretive everyday. I must admit that it was pretty "smart" of them not to tip me off that my account had been banned (which would have been too obvious if they had just closed it - which they did when I got banned from AdSense in '06 after making over $1,000 in about 3 days! Again, stupid InetMkg newb...)

    I hope it's not the case, but it is possible. And if you're banned. You're screwed.

    I heard a "PPC expert" say that your google account has a "trial" period (lasts about 4 months) where they're making sure that you'll be responsible about your ads and make sure that you can pay your bill before they'll really exposure your ad to all of the traffic that you're bidding on.

    that could be what's happening too...:confused:

    It could be a number of things. Read the adwords FAQ or contact them.

    ok guys its been a few days and the ads are still not running!. i contacted google on saturday and no response yet, i posted a message on google base and no response!. Google is so quick to take your money but when you need help they are no where to be found!..

    i setup ads to run in teh us, canada, Australia and Europe. the control panel says ads are live but i have zero impressions i put bids up for 70 cents to test it and still no luck
