Adwords rejects advertising?!

I have tried to advertise http://www.royalflushasia.com.

The title of Adwords 'Royal Flush', and the description 'poker' are grounds for rejection - the words suggest a gambling element that Google rejects. All adverts using these words were stopped.

If you google 'poker', 'poker chips' or 'online poker' there are still advertisements there. Why is this?

What can be done to avoid the Google rejection policy against my advert? Thanks.

    Hi,

One of my sites sells a Winning at Slot Machines e-book, and when I originally put my Adwords out there, they got rejected, but there is a link that let's you get a special request...

You fill that out and make sure that you let them know that people aren't gambling on your website, your just selling poker related material. Usually it'll take them about 1 to 2 hours to accept your Adwords.

Before I submitted the advert, there was already a notification that it would probably be rejected, and that there would be an opportunity to appeal.

I have tried this, thrice (!) with different combinations of adwords that limited the number of times I used 'Royal Flush' and 'poker.

I'll give it say 2-3 weeks before trying again.

Thanks for the help. I will use your reasons.

Observation: Googling poker now Partypoker and at least one or two other online poker sites that I saw previously are no longer advertising. Just a few sites on how to play poker.
