Back after some time (building a new PC is a biatch) :)

Anyway...i have some "weirdness" with Adwords, but its actually a good thing.

I had camaigns running a few weeks ago and a budget, say Eu20/Day for this campaign as well as another "placement targeting" campaign.

But i was absolutely NOT satisfied with my adwords spending compared to what i actually MADE.

So...i just blatanlty set down the budget of the EU20 campaign down to EU5, sick of too much spending.

The MIRACULOUS thing is....that ever since i turned down my budget i get WAY MORE sales....and also the impressions and clicks of my other (placement targeting) campaign went up!

I have no idea how this is possible.

I had a 4-5 times higher ad budget before and crappy sales...and now stellar sales and low ad spending :)

Anyway i for sure leave it like that since there were months were i barely made even..and now everything works beautiful.

it might be the latency of the order time. You ran the original with a higher budget and later reduce the budget and then began seeing the higher budget start to convert, creating an effect that looks like the lower budget is paying off. However in time the sales or leads should drop off as the volume and latency catch up.

This is just my theory, since i have seen this happy to many others then get upset when volume stops.

I agree with robert. Adwords hates people who don't spend a lot. It's algorithms will soon catch up with you, eventually, I'm afraid.

Well, it's all about how a products converts.

Budget just increases the chances of getting a sale.
Higher budget > more clicks > more possible sales

Actually, you don't just need clicks, you need the converting clicks. (everything starts with keywords)

So...I don't really know why you started making more sales with lower budget, but Adwords has lots of surprises ;)

but..the interesting thing...i ran a low budget before already....so..i increased budget 4x-5x/day expecting WAY more sales. But this didnt happen... so my earnings were NOT equal to my spending, it's like the additional budget was totally wasted. Dont know...will monitor this for a while.

high budget doesn;t mean high sales, it just means high traffic. and high traffic just always don;t convert. there are lot of impulse clicks on the first or second results with first result getting lot of junk clicks. 2nd and 3rd place might have less traffic, but by then most of junk traffic have been filtered out. therefore spending less can make you more if done properly
