I'm thinking of taking the qualification exams but i dont think i can spend $1000 ad dollars in 90 days yet so if i have passed the exams without the $1000 in 90 days, can i still benefit from it?
its about how u define benefit, there is no direct benefit in this certification except that you can use it for sales pitch while talking with a potential client
This certification may help you to get more potential clients...but nothing to your adwords accounts...
Google currently has 4 steps to be a qualified individual 1. Sign up for the program successfully and be in good standing. This means that you've accepted the Rules of Use and aren't in violation of them. 2. Manage at least one AdWords account (yours or someone else's) in My Client Center for 90 days. 3. Build and maintain at least US$1,000 (or your local currency equivalent) total spend for your or your team's My Client Center account during the 90-day period. 4. Pass the Google Advertising Professional Exam. We suggest that you take the exam after you meet the above requirements. However, you can take the exam at any time. I think what sbongo is trying to ask is if there any benefits if by passing ONLY the professional exam aka Step 4. I am quite interested to know what happens as well.Any suggestions?
yes Poor man, you are right. Step 4 is the only way to get the qualify certification. I have some questions like, I has worked on Adwords more than 1000 US $, but I quite that company and joined the new one, so now I am not able to give their billing information. So, Please tell me, am I able to qualify in the exam.
I just passed the exam myself and my understanding is that you have to spend the $1000 in 90 days and either after that or before , you need to pass the exam , but it has to be under the same account if I am not mistaken . So now I have to spend the $1000 to get my certificate I guess . If anyone out there needs some assistance I will open an account and help setup and manage your pay per click ads for you .
I think Muki007 is correct, it has to be on the same account - I would think it is best to pass the other 3 sections before the exam. I am taking the exam in the next month or so - any tips?
