Discussion in 'Google AdWords' started by hotpop, Sep 8, 2006.

Today I opened an adwords account and launched a Campaign. After that, I searched the keyword which I have set, but I couldn't find my site from "Sponsored Links"
What's wrong? Please give some advice.
    Thank you in advance

    Adwords is very complicated system...

If you search for your keyword, this does NOT mean that they will display your ad ALL the times this phrase is searched.

hey have their own ways to determine how should your ads "pushed"
    to the search results.

Also if your Campaign is VERY new... it might take up to 1 day until the
    ads are *actually* shown.

    My $0.02 :)

New campaigns/ads are deployed to Google search network in just 5 min ~ 1 hour

    Try this:

Why can't I see my ad?

I think you need to wait for 1 or 2 days as nowadays they are reviewing the ads manually.

Your ads will have to go through manual approval before they go live. :)

Normally when you create an ad it will be deployed in Google Search network instantly before it has been manually reviewed (at least the ads I create, don't know if I have a VIP flag in my account here ;) )

But they will only go to Content network only after receive a manual review that takes about 5 business days.

It takes some time(some times hours and some times days) to show up the ads.

That's great. It does take some time for new accounts. Sometimes, even an older account it may take a while.

I have noticed some keywords in your ad will trigger a "review"...

    Some I have noticed recently

    "murder" like murder the competition
    and similar words like "kill"

Also I have noticed the word "president" will trigger a review.

I have had some problems at times with phrases like "easy money". So you might want to keep those in mind.

    Hotpop,

the higher your budget the more likely you ad will be shown.

Take a look at the campaign settings.
