Google Adwords (but read all the help files and as many posts on here as possible - also, in the beginning, download Editor and use it to structure your account)

Adwords will allow your website to be shown to 70-80% of the potential online market while Yahoo usually results in a lower CPC. I'd personally recommend to use Adwords as the majority of our clients get up to 3 times the amount of sales with Adwords than Yahoo.

    Hi,

I've used both adwords and yahoo and I make more sales to yahoo visitors than adwords visitors using identical ads.

Using yahoo and MSN I get fewer visitors but higher conversaion rate.

I know it doesn't make sense but it seems to work out that way in 90% of campaigns.

Suggest you run your campaign on both and closely track. It only takes a click of the button to cut one out if it isn't performing.

    Regards,
    Davmac

Both offers their service with small startup deposit..So my kind advice is Start account with both of them. And make a same deposit in each and try to advertise ...Use same advertisements and keywords in both..Then compare how many clicks for the whole amount you get for your keywords...Then you can judge which one is best....

definitely try both. we get good conversions and lower cpc rates with yahoo. the beauty of cpc is that you can manage it well with respect to budget, so it doesn't hurt anything (other than your time) to put the ads on both adwords and yahoo

Well, some people claims that they are getting good results with yahoo and MSN. Even there is a course on yahoo search marketing called "yahoo cash for idiots", which claims that yahoo is also good choice for PPC.

I will suggest you to start off with adwords and then ramp up to yahoo and MSN.

Yeah, I agree that google adwords has more conversion rates but at a higher cost. If you are new to PPC I would try Yahoo Ad Center. Lower CPC and you wont loose at much money if you are not doing something correctly. I use Yahoo to test my keywords at a lower CPC then update to Google Adwords if they are working well in Yahoo.

    Good Luck

Adwords is certainly the best. Even when i started i did not find Yahoo as easy as adwords. It is pretty clear with adwords what you need to do. they have a video tutuorials. Make sure you go through it properly before starting your first campaign.
