The only thing I got from adwords is a bad day/week. Their quality score system is absolutely retarded and not capable to recognize a very relevant page. I have to pay 10$ for a click where my competitors only pay 0.15$ and their customer support is incompetent. All they know to do is copy paste random suggestions and links that have nothing to do with my problem. I guess I'm going to try adbrite since adwords just isn't working for me.

Maybe worth testing both to get a better picture for yourself of what may be more suited to your website.

I ran a direct test - the same campaign (virtually) running back to back on Adwords and Adbrite - same keywords, daily spend, ad text etc.

The impression I received on Adbrite were colossal compared to Adwords - but very little dirrerence in CTR.

Conversions on Awords were 300% higher than Adbrite.

I think it is fairly obvious that the targetting ability of an Adwords camaign is far greater than Adbrite. I think Adbrite 'carpet bomb' a wider audience for the same money, but the vast majority are not interested in your product.

Adbrite may well work for a 'mass appeal' product, but if you need to target a specific audience, I'd always run with Adwords.

    Hope that helps?

the vast majority of adbrites websites are warez, file sharing and other piracy and illegal sites. They really dont give a damn where they place ads. almost all their viewers are thus kids with ad blocking software and zero money. Don't expect to earn anything at all from advertising with adbrite.

Adwords won't allow a site with free movie downloads, that's why they're charging you $10 per click.

Adbrite accepts all types of ads legal/ illegal so for movie download adbrite is best, just run cost per click banners
    and not cpm banners.

Trying to get some traffic , adbrite is OK for a try . If you are looking for targeted visitors and sales , Adword would be the final choice .

    best of luck

Before you get into adwords you need to understand the fundamentals otherwise you will dry your pocket!

adwords has a min cpc of 0.01
adbrite has the minimum of 0.05
Yours is a free movie site. So, if you don't need geographically targeted audience, then go with adwords for the 0.01 bids on many related keywords.
