Hi, I am thinking of running my own adwords campaign however, the CPC estimates are very high (in my opinion). What do I need to know to run an optimized campaign, one that does not kill my budget? Please give me pointers, some formulas that will help me to be successful.

    Thank you in advance!

There are tons of resources to be found in this thread. I would suggest running a search for adwords SEO, adwords optimization, adwords resources etc.

There are books on it as well.

unfortunately optimization and best practices can not be summed up in one thread. There is endless information, formulas and best practices. Just start reading the forums and start asking questions

But please be sure you understand the basics first. Dont ask how to launch a campaign or the difference between broad and exact match. Those types of questions can be answered by reading the google help

Kindly pay attention on yoru target keywords.

If those are really at price which you can not afford in long run, you can try to find less priority keywords.

The main ideas is to search for alternative keywords. That is the key.
