Adwords offline editor - your experience

I've received a mail from Google. They offered to download their offline adword campaigns editor, I did it, but installation failed - what's wrong with this?

Have anyone tried this tool?

 

I would love to test it, but is not available on Mac OS. All the google stuff seems to be usable only in Windows PCs´.

 

i had high hopes! but the momment it was intstalled and setup and when my anticipation was maximum, i type my login info and it says "you do not have permission to acces this account"

maybe im supposed to loginto my web interface to make this happen?...
anyway.. i cant even use the software

 

a lot tested with no problem: what is exactly the error message that are you getting?

 

I received the same "you do not have permission to access this account" when I used it the first time.

I was already logged-into my adsense account online via browser when I was getting this message. I logged-off my account and tried the software again. I had no problem accessing my account after that.

Could be coincidence though.

 

haha.. thx ill test this out later today, it is very possible that i was logged in at the same time....

maybe the editor wont be such a let-down after all...

 

I ran the installer, the behaviour of the progress bar was weird - first it runs from left to the right, then from right to the left.
Then it said that "The installer was interrupted before Google Adwords Editor could be installed. Try again."

I tried 3 times, but failed. Of course, I haven't interrupted the installation.

 

it worked for me, although i wasn't that impressed with the program and never use it.

 

1) Check if your temp folder is correctly configured in windows control panel

2) go to the configured temp folder and set it as "read and write" (uncheck read-only) for the entire temp folder and its subfolders.

It works great for me.
Very easy to use.
But i couldn't change my daily campaign budget.
