    I've been thinking of doing this exact sort of post for a while. There are quite a few of course.

    1. Increasing CPC increases your QS.
    2. An older account gets discounts.
    3. Doing PPC helps you rank organically.
    4. Ranking well organically gets you lower PPC costs.
    5. Google doesn't allow ads for affiliate sites.

    I've got more but I'll give others a chance.

    Cheers Lucid you are always helpful.

    I have a feeling the so called adwords 'slap' is a myth. It's what Google does to you when you're doing things wrong.

    I think the biggest myth is that being the #1 ad is best.

    If you want to get a lot of traffic then being top 2 is best.

    If you want a good CTR, conversion rate, and ROI then don't aim for first place.

    (Of course this is not true for all keywords)
