if you got the coupon as new user of Hostgator, then there is no problem to other person to use it - there is no name on it )
if only there is not mentioned something like "this coupon can be applied only for new accounts created thru clicking on this link", something like this

This is an interesting thread. FWIW you can have 2 accounts with the exact same contact info as long as they are both held together under the same MCC.

But I'm also curious about this aspect of seperate "test" and "real" accounts:

Is that a viable strategy? Anyone else doing this?

I also have a specific question about the CONTENT NETWORK, because its based on adgroup themes, suppose you have an adgroup in the "real" account and another in the "test" account which are similar but not exactly the same, with a few of the same keywords overlapping in each adgroup? Is there a penalty for that?

But why were you banned? Maybe it had more to do with pushing some niche Google doesn't like?

The point is that apparently there is a way to keep an account with a good QS by having it contain only adgroups that have been tested and weeded out in another account?

A lot of those sites that fall out of favor with Google such as porn gambling will use multiple accounts to run ads against Googles TOS and eventually they are caught and banned.
Indeed there is more than one way to approach almost anything in life.

For example any deposits in excess of $10,000.00 per day must be reported to the IRS by the bank.

However two deposits of $7,500.00 each to two different accounts does not.

It's called "thinking outside the box"....
