Adwords keywords tutorial

I have a hard time to just understand the keywords game.
I have inactive keywords that, even by following the adwords help, I can't get active. It looks to me that something is missing in my adwords that the help is talking about. Like the "Click the link below the inactive keyword you'd like to enable: Increase quality or bid to {amount} to activate.

I just have NO link below any inactive keywords.

So I'm looking for a keywords tutorial which can explain me like if I was 6y/o :D

    Any idea??

Your keywords might not match your ad properly. Make sure you break up your keywords into specific ad groups.

    Campaign ---> Widgets

Blue Widgets go in their own Ad Group with an ad that has the headline "Blue Widgets on Sale". The page you bring your customer to will have a headline "Blue Widgets", and will offer only blue widgets.

Cheap Widgets go in their own Ad Group with an ad that has the headline "Cheap Widgets on Sale". The page you bring your customer to will have a headline "Cheap Widgets", and will offer only cheap widgets.

    And so on....

    Read, re-read, and read again...
The only way I found is to cancel the whole stuff and do a new campaign with the same stuff...
Because there is no (link below the inactive keyword you'd like to enable: Increase quality or bid to {amount} to activate.) link below MY inactive keywords.

Maybe I'm missing the point, what are you trying to do? If you have inactive keywords and wnat them activated right away you'll have to up your min bid to the required amount.

Are you saying you don't have the option to up the minimum bid for your inactive keywords?

Correct. In fact, I have to redo a campaign each time. After 48 hours, all keywords become inactive, and after 96 hours, they become disapproved.
So I redo the same campaign again and get them active...for 48 hours...and so on...

In the status column you should see something like this next to inactive keywords:

    Inactive for search
Increase quality or bid $0.10 to activate

With the "Increase quality or bid $0.10 to activate" text as a link.

If they are disapproved I don't think you'll see that link as Google has disapproved them...which means you can't run those keywords/ads/landing page combos regardless of what you're willing to bid.

    More on disapproved keywords.

I emailed adwords guys. They said no problem with my add and keywords.
    Very confusing...
And for the link, I don't have it, active, inactive or disapproved...

What's in your status column? Can you take a screen shot and just blur out the private info?
