I tried today the adwords keyword tool (https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal) too see what it though my websites are about, and I had a big suprise. The site in the signature turns out to be ok however a blog I created yesterday isn't. While checking www.altuma.com I only get bogus keywords as a sugestion. So I check the only page that actualy has content right now: http://altuma.com/index.php/about/ This is what google sais it's about: internet security (13), anti virus (10), spyware adware (7), membership site (7), www sivut (7), software development (7), nortan antivirus (6), nortons antivirus (6), how to (5), antivirus (36), internet (9), software (10), spyware (8), gimp (17), nortons (8), blog (10), volumepill (10), web (5), Miscellaneous keywords (19) Yes, it's about software development, but what about the rest? Where do they come from? I have check the source of the and it's clean. It's a standard wordpress with no modules installed yet (fresh install). Yes, the hosting is free and there may be some ads but they are banners, not text. I check the page google useragent too, nothing. What could be wrong? I really doubt google is actualy seeing those keywords on the page? This has happend to me with another site too, but not so bad. That other site (which I'm not willing to discuss here) is on a different payed hosting, different software (no, it's not hacked) and I've never had problems with it (on the contrary...it rank pretty well in the serps). For comparison I've also check a few threads at digitalpoint. I chose threads about specific topic and google allways thinks they are about PPC, marketing and SEO. I didn't mention this first because google may be right here and 90% of the site to be about it, or something. But as to my blog (which I created yesterday) and has no links to it there is such possibility. I need your thoughts about this. Reps for the one that sheds some light into the situations.
