Adwords keyword targeted cost?

    Hi all

    Just wondering what is your average cost per keyword when you use keyword targeted adwords. Do you prefer to pay more and this will assure your higher rankings in sponsored links part?

    I am not asking you to tell all your secrets just in general

    I heard you can pay alot first month and then pay less and stay almost same rank

    It completely depends on the industry. Dinky things like ringtones cost .50 - ..75 per click to be at the top in the blue box. They don't sell for very much so the keywords isn't as expensive. Lawyers, on the other hand, are paying $5 - $10 per click.
