Adwords, is Search a better placement for ads than Content? I want the people who search google for my words to see my ad in 1-3 position. Or, my ads on content pages, will they convert better?

I believe so. Search is only when someone searches google itself. The content network can show up on any random site on the internet that is getting paid to post ads. If someone is searching for something they are actively trying to find it. When it's on the content netowrk they are passively looking at your ads. So it depends on your marketing strategy, but I use search instead of content network when trying to sell products with AdWords. Google Analtyics is important to see which ads have converted.

It's best to create separate campaigns, one for search and one for content network. Each is a totally different animal and you need to write your ads differently.
