Adwords help for a beginner!

Hey,
I have just found a folder with Google Cash 3rd edition and after reading it am very keen to try and make some money on adwords. I probably got a little ahead of myself and made a campaign and tried to follow the instructions and now have an ad that does not show up most likely due to many beginner mistakes. Can someone help me out? Someone with some experience.

ARE u talking about adsense or adwords? if it with adwords ..u need to have good product also have to find right keywords

 

Im using Adwords. I have an ad up and it says it is active but it wont show up when searched for.

 

Because you will spend more money than you make. Arbitrage is against Google's ToS, it worked for a while, YEARS ago, but now, it's a huge factor in depressing your quality score, hence putting your costs up. If arbitrage was your intention and they don't show your ads, they are doing you a favour, because you'd just be throwing money away.

 

I am with you. I am also looking for a way to optimise adsense.

Okay my ad has started showing up and i have a grand total of 8 clicks
Where does it show when someone has bought something and i have a commission?

 

If you're ad isn't showing I'd start by looking at your bid price and your keywords. As far as checking your commissions you'd have to check with the company where signed up to become an affiliate of.

 

Okay well my ad is showing up now which is good.
So commissions dont show up in the adwords summary?

 

AdWords and AdSense are seperate. That being said I agree with these other folks, this kind of arbitrage hasn't been successful for a while. Take a look at the affiliate forum, you can still make money driving traffic from AdWords to a landing page that converts to affiliate sales. Anyways, that's my 2 cents

 

Okay so you think i am wasting my time?

I have got 39 clicks so far but only 6 from search the rest from content. And im pretty sure i havent got any commission yet. Is there a way to make it so i get more clicks from searches?
