Adwords for Forums/online communities

    Hey guys im a newbie to adwords how well does this stuff work for forums and online communities (myspace stuff) Because on the these type of sites I will have adsense on them anyway... so im wondering how effective this is.. but the click prices seem pretty low i suppose 0.05. Give me all your feedback I command you :D

    well, its not great for me. You have to go directly to the people to promote your forum

    Adwords is great for bringing in traffic if your budget allows.

    i don't thing that adword is very much effective for forums.

    that all depends on whether or not the advertiser can afford the click fees. you have to weight the pros and cons of paying for traffic. I send traffic to my new blog with adwords. to me, right now, $0.30 a click is worth a new user. I do not monetize the blog either. my goal is not turning a $0.30 click in to a $1.00 adsense click or getting affiliate sales. PPC doesnt always have to be about profiting from clicks. It could be to build brand or to build a user base. thats why it is PPC (Pay Per Click) not PPS (Pay Per Sale).

    Hmmm....PPS, did I just invent a new Online Marketing acronym?
