yes, I use AdWords Editor 80% of the time and web interface 20% of time (only for collecting statistics and keyword tool)
When I heard about it, I expected to get some new features as well, but it just gets some parts of campaign management faster.
Probably you don't know yet all it features like for example coping and pasting keywords from one group top another, you can cut and paste ads and also cut and paste adgroups campaigns from one campaign to another campaign as well.
Micromag, The copying and pasting features were nice But I was expecting better features for brand new campaigns
I heard from a google representative that they are soon going to provide a image upload tool in editor.
with AdWords editor you create in few minutes a campaign with 20 adGroups with 6 ads in each one by creating the the campaign/adgroups in one MS Excel sheet and the ads in another MS excel sheet (you can check the ad text spelling! ) - so you just copy and paste into the AdWords Editor and your campaign with 20 adgroups and 120 ads are ready in minutes - you can also set this campaign as draft until it is ready to be published.
It's awesome if you want to consolidate adgroups under one campaign. Or if you want to do bulk changes. Or if you want to move campaigns from one account to another, (if you have more then one account.)
I use it when working with larger accounts. With the copy/paste features you can create thousands of ad groups in minutes...that would take days in the web interface.
I used it recently to update 179 adgroups to a new destination url...took 10 seconds to do and about 2 minutes to upload to google...awesome tool!
i just started switching over to the editor for my campaigns, although it seems slow at times when u click on adgroups. anyone encounter slowness?
