If I am using adwords editor and I want to make each keyword a phrase, exact, and broad match, is there any easy way to choose all after pasting in 100 keywords?

You could try copying and pasting the 100 keywords, then select the second lot in the keywords tab and change the match type down the bottom to exact. then repeat the process with the next match type

I tried that in adword editor, I go to make multiple changes. I paste all the keywords. Than I label them broad match but when i go back to multiple changes so I can make all those words phrase match it says those words are already in my account. Of course I know they are already in my account but I want to have every match for each 100 keywords.

I just watched Robert's Tutorial on adwords editor. On it, it shows a different ad group for exact, phrase, and broad match. Is that the best way to do it if I want each keyword to have all those different matches?

    for example
    ad group

    product exact
    product broad
    product phrase

So actually I will have three different ad groups with all the same keywords. Right?

You can use excel to create keyword broad, keyword exact, keyword phrase, but I just use Speed PPC and it takes me 5 minutes to set up 100 keywords and get $0.05 clicks =)

Don't try to upload them in three separate passes through "multiple changes". Just take your existing keywords and copy & paste them into the same (or different) ad group, select all the duplicates, and change their match type.

Thanks. So I did what was suggested. I created an adgroup for each different match type broad,Exact, and phrase. They all have the same keywords in them but they are in three different adgroups.

Robert I set it up the same way you did on your tutorial.

    Thats the best way right?

Actually, come to think of it.. if you are very serious about AdWords and stuff I recommend getting a tool called Speed PPC which essentially saves you 3 weeks of time per campaign when it comes to creating targeted adgroups and stuff like that..

They just came out with a new version and in my opinion it just rocks so may want to try that or as I said before, do it manually with excel sheets or whatever you choose to do it with...
