Yesterday(november 21), my adwords went from a steady 2 month rate of over $100 a day to less then $20. I changed nothing at all. All my campains have dropped except 1, which is still at the same rate it has always been. All my other campains have gone to pennies, some from a normal of $40 to less than $1. This is because of impressions, not CTR. One of my ad campains was recieving 140,000+ impressions a day and yesterday recieved less than 3000. What happened? Any advice on fixing this? Please help, I really need to get adwords back to normal!
See this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=182787 and answer the same questions.
That is not the same question. He did not have a 7400% drop in page impressions in one day. My CTR is still the same.
Oh yeah, sorry. He dropped 500%, you dropped 7400%. Never mind. Can't possible be related to AdWords quality score, landing pages or something else. I'll have to pass, I know nothing about all this.
i don't get what you're saying. you're saying your daily spend used to be $100 per day? Reading that literally, that's what it says. Or is it that your daily revenues derived from Adwords campaigns used to be $100...?
Yes, this is adwords. I was spending $100 a day, now I am spending less then $20 a day. Since the advertising is lower, this makes my revenue lower. I want to get back up to spending over $100 a day so my revenue can go back up, increasing my profit.
i had a sudden dip that I attribute to holidays here in the U.S., but nothing like you describe...just 25% or so. hoping it'll pick up next week.
Got the answer from adwords- "We have recently updated your Quality Score which is why you see this decrease in impressions even though you have not recently made changes to your account."
This is much expected. I'm thrilled that you got a reply from Google! Go ahead and tweak your landing pages and increase their relevance with respect to the keywords they are targeted. D Sarathy. RankQuest
Talking about landing pages(not sure if this should be a new thread) My site I believe to be 100% relevant to the subject, but I do not have much text, just content (i.e. if I were selling shoes I would have a long list of pictures of shoes and their prices, but in very few places talking about actually selling shoes) Do I need text to have a better landing page score?
I usually spend out my 300.00 a day budget. It started dropping two days ago. And I know my landing pages are ok they go straight to my product pages for instance - Diet Shakes , Diet program, lose weight plan goes to http://www.procapslabs.com/pcl/ws/secure/pages/default.aspx hair vitamin, biotin for hair growth etc goes to http://www.procapslabs.com/pcl/Pages/Products/PCLProductDetail.aspx?pid=268435869 So what are the google requirmenets for landing pages. Its like they don't want my money
What a surprise, I had no idea. Maybe next time email Google right away considering you don't trust our answers.
