Hi everybody. I am a newcomer to this forum. Firstly, I would like to introduce myself. I am an Israeli residing in Israel trying to forward Google Adwords money to activate my campaigns halted by them for lack of payment. They accept only credit cards from Israelis. I built a campaign which is based on prepay (not pospay). I have a valid credit card especially designed by the Israel Visa Company -a delegacy of the larger Visa International Company- for carrying out international transactions. The Israel Visa Cal Company issued me a prepay credit card. This special PrePay credit card must be charged in advance with a certain amount of money starting from 200 shekels (60.1052 U.S. dollars at the time of this thread) and up. I had more than enough money at the time of carrying out the prepay transaction with Google Adwords. But they kept declining my credit card time and again, time and again - of no avail. I have tried this credit card with other international companies, one of them United States based and the transactions went along smoothly. What angers me most is that they do not offer alternative paying methods, like bank wiring, international check drawn on U.S. $ etc. for an Israeli resident. They send you to a page stating who is entitled to such and such a paying method and who is not. My skin color is white... My money is ok but they somehow discriminate between Adword clients by country and by other criteria. This is totaly unfair to my opinion because there are many ways to transfer money as long as one's money is good as in my case. But this is not so by their drakonic and medieval in nature rules of payment. Lastly, in my efforts to explore other ways of payment to Google Adwords I wrote them dozens of emails which they never reply to. Therefore guys if anyone knows how to issue a complaint to their top authorities please help me out here. On this note I shall wait for your answers in the hope someone comes up with a proper advice. Doron, Shalom to you all from Israel.
Your skin color is white? Congratulations, mine's purple. They're not discriminating by country or other criteria, they're setting out the ways that they feel are secure to take payment for their services.
Are you saying that there is better way of payment than credit card? Whats the big deal? Take your money to your bank and add them to your card. Fast, easy and secure. p.s. Just curious: does the black people in Israel have any other paying options for AdWords? Hello to you
Pfft, not accepting prepaid CC's is over the top, and the guy is right, it's totally unfair etc... There are plenty of companies that accept prepaid CC's and I don't know why google doesn't. I personally have a prepaid CC and it's annoying that Google simply declines it, lucky for me that I have an Australian bank account that I can pay with. Anyway, yeah, that's annoying.
Hi jack_40k Thank you for your insight and understanding of the problem. Jack please explain to all those who do not understand why I was referring to a skin color that, I meant by skin color to show that Adwords discriminate between people of different countries deciding on methods of payment applicable to a person from one country and a method of payment applicable to a person from another country. Ofcourse they do not do so by skin color and have other considerations... I respect all skin colors! I am white in skin color and proud of it but I could have been of a different skin color whether black, green, orange, yellow, purple whatever...and the same problem with Adwords would have persisted. I have wonderful friends from all skin colour spectrums. Members of the forum implying that I have a dislike of a certain skin color are not contributing in any way. They should try another forum- this is not the place. They are insulting my feelings and I would like the forum administrator to penalize them. Again Jack_40k a BIG THANK YOU.
You totaly misunderstood my stand point. I could have been of any other skin color, whether black, green, yellow, orange whatever. I was refering to a discrimination not on a color basis but on a COUNTRY basis. A very good day to you sir. dzr
Than you should'v said: My COUNTRY is Israel and not: My skin color is white. It's clearly that you are referring on a color basis.
