    Hi,

I have a merchant service provider that will allow me to place the adwords tracking code on my confirmation of purchase page.

The problem is, will adwords for able to track, as the confirmation page which comes after the customer payment page is actually on the merchant services URL.

In other words from my site the customer is taken from

    http://www.mywebsite.com/proceedtopayment

    Then to

    http://www.mymerchantservices.com/mywebsite/paymentpage

    Then taken to

    http://www.mymerchantservices.com/mywebsite/confirmationpage

So you can see the confirmation page where the conversion tracking code is taken will be on a different URL

So can Google track the conversion?

Tracking code is not tied to a site but rather to an account. You can place the code on any site you want.

It should track fine but I would do a test purchase to make sure it comes through to the conversions page (normally takes a couple of hours to catch up)

Are you tracking each of the pages?

If all you want to track is the actual purchase, then you simply put the code (once) on the page your customer uses to access the product or the "Thank you" page.

Don't put the code on each of the page you mentioned, only on the last one else you will get a wrong conversion figure (ie, it will be higher than the actual number of conversions)
