Adwords Conversion Tracking - Technicalities

    Hi guys,

I just wanted to check my understanding and assumptions of adwords conversion tracking in situations where you have Text Ad ==> Landing Page ==> Conversion Page (tracking script here)

1.) Multiple Users - As far as I understand a conversion is recorded everytime someone clicks an ad and reaches the conversion page regardless of whether they are a repeat visitor or not. Yes?

Let's say a user clicks an ad and then bookmarks the landing page (page before conversion page), returning to it sometime later within 30 days of the initial click. As I understand:

    * If this person previously converted, a conversion will not be recorded if they proceed to convert again. (without going through an ad)

    * If this person previously exited at the landing page and returned (within 30 days) and then converted they would be recorded as a conversion.

Is this correct? What happens if they return after 30 days and convert?

2.) Tricky scenario - if a user clicks an ad and see landing page URL http://www....com/landingpage2.html and types into their browser http://www....com/landingpage1.html (to check out other versions of the landing page) and converts from the latter, will the conversion record against the first landing page or second landing page? Tricky.
