Hi there, I am trying to learn as much as I can about adwords right now.

I set up a splash page/website for a product from click bank which I am going to promote.

    It's for mma training videos.

I am going to use a 2 grand in adwords in hopes to make back the 2 grand plus some.

Can anyone help me out, in picking best key words and prices?

    Any help would be appreciated!!!!

hey, you dont just jump in the market with a random product.

You have to research it first to be certain that it is indeed needed by anyone. By needed I mean, not by random folks seeking mma info. BUT by those with a credit card ready to buy.

first of all read about how to market clickbank products properly before jumping in and spending $2k. In the scenario above you will just waste.

If you want to make back your $2k and more, read blogs and articles about clickbank marketing. Tons free info out there. No need tp buy anything. But please dont just jump in and blow cash.

He is right, you can definitely just jump into it, but you will be throwing away your $2k. If you want to throw away the money, they are better ways to do it.

Most people will read that CB's specific offer, and in their affiliate program, they normally give you tips on how/what/where to promote. But take it with a grain of salt. Think why would anyone would want to buy this CB (ebook) product, who would buy it, where would go to buy this product. When you can answer these questions, then you can think of keywords that people would be putting into the search engine to find your MMA product. If and when you come up with this list of keywords, you can then write the associated ad to go along with these keywords. Then there is your campaign.

But definitely do more research before you "throw" your money away.

What you could also do is use the free version of spyfu.com

type in the domain of the product you promote and see what keywords already advertise on. Chances are that you can get a successful campign right off with this technique!

yes, it all sounds easy... using spyfu.com and get all keywords you should use. Now the only problem is this

    1) if using adwords, you might be using keywords that everyone else is already purchasing, hence the competition to get it cheap is out the door.

    2) these free tools are just tools at best. I have purchased other spy keyword tools before, and I didn't get any luck with any real conversion at a reasonable price.

You should really do some trial and error. If you are one of those lucky ones that makes serious money right off the bat, kudos to you.

See you could get only the merchant adversting and no affiliates. In that case you swipe their good keywords for solid profit!

After doing a comprehensive keyword search I would do a test run with small sum to get some real data and after that go big.

It depends on the CPC for the keywords the merchant is using if the CPC is too high for the main keywords Mr Forex would have to concentrate on longtail keywords. It could also be the case that competitors in that market are making a loss on the front end because they have a backend product. I think Mr Forex really should investigate a little more before investing this 2k because as many said it will be money down the drain. Adwords has become more competitive which means you have to be more on the ball. I have learned about Adwords but haven't entered it as yet because it can be so precarious and the amounts you can lose if your not clear what you are doing. An idea would be to test some keywords for a while see if they work if not move onto the next ones until you find ones that will work, but i would say analyse the market more and your competitors to make sure you the entry level isn't too high.

Adwords is probably the most dangerous place to spend your money when just starting out. Even seasoned advertisers stay away from it. Especially because Google can suspend your account, thus all your earnings, in a heartbeat.

Wow your mention of 2k to spend has horrified me, if this is your first adwords campaign you should be spending a lot less than that. Like maybe $200 at MOST until you prove you can at least break even.
