ive come across some decent tools in the past, but cant find them any more. anyone know of any urls that will allow you to find out bid pricing estimates for specific keywords for adwords, and maybe for other major ppcs? thank you in advance.

googles tool should give you enough insight to let you know how much to expect to pay.

thanks, but there are better bid estimate tools out there. One of them showed actual bid ranges for the first 11 positions nicely displayed. google doesnt reveal this data, i suppose, but these tools were showing pretty decent estimates which is great for scoping out niches. any ideas?

google's tool also seems misleading. type in a keyword you know will cost more than a 1.00/click to rank on the first page. the tool misleads by displaying you will rank between high positions, with estimated fewer clicks.

    it also displays:
"Notes about these estimates for your keywords and targeting:
    • Because your campaigns do not yet have a performance history, keyword estimates are based on system-wide performance information. "

this further misleads me to think that there are people out there with a ridiculously great quality score to average out all the weak campaigns to result in the decent estimated positions.

thanks, this is better. i like how it combines more info on one page, but i question its max bid value. im sure there are more accurate tools out there but these will definitely help in the meanwhile.
