Adwords Bid Automation Tools

    Just wondering if there is any body here that uses bid automation software to manage large accounts.

    If so could you tell how it has helped you, and if it is useful...

    I looked a little while back and found a number of tools for Overture (now Yahoo), but none for Google that were worthwhile. I tried Dynamic Bid Maximizer's Google tool and found it pretty worthless.

    I know about two companies that created bid automation software: Efficient Frontier and Media Boost. Efficient Frontier is a multi million dollar company that manages some $350 million USD, Media Boost is a new start up that are challenging Goliath - you can read more about it here.

    To be completely honest I haven't used either but I know that Media Boost are relatively cheap.

    I personally don't use any bid managment software...lots of reasons that I couldn't articulate in this post.
