Hello Guys, I am noob to adwords world. How would you suggest me to learn adwords from scratch?,All tips and suggestions would be appreciated
Don't waste money on any e-books or coaching subscriptions. Refer to the Adwords Help Center and the Adwords Learning Center. Those are all the resources you need.
Coaching sites are for losers, never subscribe to one, you want to do it all on your own without anyone with years experience there to guide you and answer any questions you have. People who have been down the road you're going to travel don't know jack. Kinda like all those "apprentice" programs are a complete joke. I mean an electrician can read a book on how electricity works, so why would he need to do a two year apprenticeship with a real electrician first? Same with mentors, who needs a mentor when you can just go with the school of hard knocks instead. I mean what does a mentor know that you can't read on some forum or in some ebook? Real world experience and knowledge is no substitute for reading a book about something. Once you have the theory you can then throw your hard earned money in testing the theory and you certainly don't need someone to help you avoid spending your money unnecessarily. Coaching programs suck and anyone who uses them or has a mentor is stupid. LOL
Was that rant provoked by my response, PPC-Coach? I would think it was. I don't know anything about your own coaching programme. What I do know is - and you have to admit this yourself - the majority of them are completely useless. During my newbie phase, I personally wasted money on many so-called coaching programmes, none of which alleviated my struggles. None of them shared the most important factors for success: landing pages and keywords. But of course they wouldn't. Who would? Not me. Given the usual poor standard of coaching programmes, I think that my advice was spot on. Once again, not to impune your programme, which I know nothing about.
You're right in that there are some really shitty ones out there. I remember I joined "cbaffiliateformula" just for the hell of it and I have to say it was the worst I've ever seen. I've also seen others which start off with a bang, then fade into crappiness, (I won't mention the classroom I'm refering to). Then there's some that pretend to teach one thing but actually teach 4 different things from what they advertise. Anyhow, I used to think that just reading the learning center was enough, but then I realized that it's all theory and it's very very biased theory in that it's written by and for the benefit of adwords itself. That was part of my motivation for opening up my program more then 6 months ago. So you're right, partly...
