Adwords approval time?

How long does it generally take to get your ads approved?

It's been 5 days so far and still says "Under Review".

It's nothing illegal, or bad, just a affiliate product I am trying to promote.

    Thanks.

Usually only takes a few minutes for me, but my account has been active since 2005 so I have a lot of history with them

same here - ads are approved pretty much instantly, but we spend a lot and have an account over 3 years olf - also we don't do affiliate stuff, which will take longer to approve as it seems G is having a bit of a crackdown on affiliates using adwords at the mo

Is it an image ad or a text ad?

Most times, your ad is approved immediately. A human reviewer may eventually get to it. I think the algorithm will put an ad under review in two cases: 1) finds something completely off base with your ad and keywords and 2) a certain percentage of new ads are put under review as a quality control. Either way, it normally takes 48 hours or less, usually a lot less. Call Google and let them know, your ad may simply have slipped through the cracks.

The best way to speed this up is to write in to support.

Mine are usually fast. But I created a new campaign a week ago and I'm still waiting for that one to get reviewed after 8 days. Not sure what is going on unless I just happen to get unlucky and get in the queue of someone who's not able to keep up with the work load.

Call support, that's the fastest way. Writing may take another week.

First time, it can take time upto 2 week. Please check your campaign that there should not be any kind of google policy violation.

you will get soon at google results.

Look through the TOS Again and make sure your clean. And Try to get support on the phone to have them look at your review. It usually only takes a few minutes.
