Adwords and the top left placement

Hello All, Hope someone can help me

I have been running a particular client campaign for about 18 months. My CTR is 10.8%. Their adds are displayed all day as the budget is higher then the number of searches here in South Africa (google.co.za).

Recently they have lost the top left placement for no particular reason. The competing advertisers run out of budget and yet this particular advert still does not move to the left.

Does anyone have any ideas why this would happen

    Wishing everyone an exseollent 2008

Securing placement on the left-hand side, above the organic results, is a function of very high quality score. Work on your quality score, especially your CTR, and you should regain your placement.

those spots are no different than the ones on the right. they are just top results that are based on your bid cost and QS. either you raise your bid or improve your QS.

The price you pay and the quality score makes thier site show up instead of yours
