If you have an adwords campaign going, and your competetor keeps searching on your ads, increasing the impressions, and not clicking on the ads. Wouldn't it decrease your CTR?

I know about click fraud. What I am concerned about is just impressions, and no clicks at all. If some keeps searching on your keywords, no clicks, what does google do to protect it's customers. Lots of impressions, no clicks will lead to decreased CTR.

yes.. it does decrease ctr but remember it decreases CTR for everyone all the players...not just you..

so everyone still is on the same platform... and price is determined by the cumulative situation in the market...so don't worry you are not the only one affected hence the affect negates itself..
