If i put lets say a Clickbank affiliate url for my adwords ad does Google allow this? I shouldn't have the problem of other people using the same URL since it has my affiliate name in the url which is not the same as other peoples. Am I correct?

I'm not so sure about that. I think that Clickbank, in their infinite wisdom, puts your affiliate ID in the URL. But I'm not completely certain. The Clickbank forum probably has a better answer.

    Google does allow affiliate links.
The ClickBank hoplink contains your affiliate id, so it should be considered a separate site.

However, what about your display url? You would probably want to put the "real" site address there (not your hoplink), which may lead to situation when two ads are considered as having the same URL (I've had this happen in some of my campaigns).

Some "gurus" advise that you set up a separate review/presell page for the product you're promoting and direct your clicks there, thus avoiding this problem. I haven't tried that yet - seems like a lot of work ;)

It is also possible (with the right scripts) to make the target site appear in a frame on your own domain, but that would be illegal for ClickBank products.

I have seen it many times... the script simply rewrites all the URLs and the vendor site looks like it is hosted from your domain. Just forgot the name of the script... is that affiliatecloner.com?

Don't know, I've seen it sites that used it, but not the source of the script.
