Adwords accounts

In the last couple of days many Google AdWords accounts have been suspended. Most of the AdWords customers are wondering as to why their accounts are suspended. All that the Google's AdWords customer receives is an email from the Google AdWords Team stating that your account has been suspended and your advertisements will not run in Google. The reason being non compliance with Google's terms of service and advertising policies. Have you received one such email from the Google's Team?

These accounts that are suspended are mostly from customers who are either new to AdWords or have outsourced their AdWords Optimization to third parties to do so.

The problem faced in such situations creates a bad experience for the AdWords customers and an additional burden to Google AdWords reviewers. However, who is responsible for such things. I have bine hearing alot about canceled accounts and was wondering why? After all I am pretty new to all this myself.

People get their accounts suspended because they don't follow Google's TOS and repeatedly commit the same offense in a short period of time. It's that simple.

I agree completely. I think there are valid reasons why those accounts were suspended. advertisers will just have to be careful and understand the TOS better.

Hey glad to hear you can advertise again. So I guess I'll just have to be careful of what I do and follow the guide lines they have set.

Do you know you can bid different costs for the same KW on the content and search advertising ? this can greatly reduce you overall cost.

they would have given you a reason for the suspension - if you think the reasons maybe mistaken then make your case to google ,they are usually reasonable -someone has been able to get their account unsuspended.

Yes - Google are very strict and are protecting themselves from potential legal action down the line.
I'm sure they will continue to be tough on everyone who "bends" the rules.
    Beware of Google.

Hello Missyshe, there was someone who had there account suspended and was trying to find out who
to contact because they didn't really give him a reason to why. But thanks for the reply. And no I didn't
know I could bid a different cost Thanks for the information on that.

Hey , you are welcome, another great tip to share with you guys - when bidding for your keywords -start high - your chances of high CTR is good comparetively and google will -yes - reduce your CPC

In most cases this is true. In some however it is not. I was promoting a business opportunity campaign, there are no credit card signup, no rebills, it was not one of those rip off names (google money tree, google cash, etc). That account of mine was banned for "running google money tree offers". Google does make some mistakes. I'm just glad I have a few different accounts with them :)

I don't recommend this at all.

CTR is normalized by position and against all other advertisers for a keyword. Yes, you should get a higher absolute CTR in a higher position. But if others have higher CTRs in that position, you are no better off and just spending more money. That's what quality score is based on. What you should do is bid whatever you can afford and improve your CTR to improve your QS. Only when you have a better QS than your competitors, which means a higher relative CTR, will you be able to reduce your costs.
