Adwords account was suspended "permanently" - really for no reason

    Hi,

I received an email today saying that my account was permanently suspended for violating their TOS.

i only have 1 active ad running, and it's been running for a while now, they approved the campaign and after I spent a lot of money on it -- I get this. here is the landing page, what is the deal here?

    Here is my landing page:
    http://buycheapfblikes.com/

Maybe the fact that I use the word "facebook" but I had seen many others doing it, + I don't use "facebook" anywhere in the body of my ad.

    1. What's wrong with that landing page, it wasn't changed ever since it was approved.
    2. Can I get my account unsuspended somehow? Are such messages negotiable?
    Thanks a lot in advance!

Try to give them a call. But it's unlikely you'll get your account back. That's just the way Google works.

I've just jumped back into giving AdWords a try.

It would be helpful if someone has a suspicion as to why.

    Trademark violation for using FaceBook?

sorry to hear this happened. It might be that having facebook as keyword gets particular attention from the adwords staff that review the ads. Is there anything in their terms that my prohibit the sale of FB likes ? Is this a competitive business on adwords?

Thanks for your replies guys. Google DID approve that campaign, in the body of the ad, I didn't use the word facebook, only "fb", which is legit. I also don't have "facebook" in my domain. They approved it, it was running for some time, and I spent a lot of money on it ($60+ on last 2-3 days alone), and THEN they decided to ban me without notice? Not even emailing me to say I violate some stupid yet another TOS? I have been an advertiser for 2 years I think, I do understand that I am not google's main source of revenue, but still could have treated people more politely.

And I totally don't get what is wrong with my site!

Sometimes ads get approved and after a while Google notice something and will suspend or disable the account. I have looked at your site and it looks like a trademark infringement this is not allowed with AdWords to use logo similar to Facebook or even mention the name.

I think that's why they have suspended your account.

I concur with SEO-WATCH. It looks like you've been banned for trademark violation. Even though your ads may have been "approved" to start with, it's possible that they'd not been reviewed by a human yet.

Unless you had some sort of approval direct from a rep (which is what your post seems to imply - any more details on that would be nice), I wouldn't expect an ad running on eligible status to represent Google's approval of that marketing effort.

Yes google is getting stricter on what you can advertise. Your best bet would of been to create a blog with about 5 post on the benefits of getting facebook fans and how they could get them (the long boring ways) then have advertisements on your blog to get instant facebook fans. This way to google it looks like you are helping your visitors, instead of giving them spammy fans.

That's been happening for a loooong time now, Google banning affiliates out of nowhere for no real reason. And that's why you're never advised to keep all your eggs in the same basket, especially when it's in Google's one.

Dude, you were trying to promote a service aimed at manipulating popularity of content within Facebook... that is not a legitimate service that Google would approve of, ever. If you must do that via PPC, better do it through 2-tier PPC networks, because adWords obviously won't allow such a thing.

I agree with Smitten, it is your product they banned. I was banned for promoting a backlink service.
