    Hey guys,

I just got an Adwords coupon sent through my door, it's for £50.00.

I want to use this coupon but unfortunately the 14 days has passed in my account when I can use the coupon (I opened account ages ago and only just got round to starting PPC).

If I were to open another adwords account with a different email address, could I then use the coupon in that account? Or do google not allow this?

Someone on another forum said I could open another account but it costs $5 to activate? Is this correct?

Any info or advice will be gratefully appreciated.

    Thanks.

Here is the the exact wording from Google on the matter

No. In order to preserve the quality and diversity of ads running on Google, individuals advertising for themselves or for their own businesses may only have a single AdWords account unless explicitly advised otherwise by Google.

This means that we don't allow advertisers or affiliates to have any of the following:

    * Ads across multiple accounts for the same or similar businesses
    * Ads across multiple accounts triggered by the same or similar keywords

Only client managers (such as third parties or search engine marketers) who use a My Client Center can have multiple AdWords accounts. All associated accounts must be linked to the manager's My Client Center account.

At first glance, it may seem like you cannot open multiple accounts, but if you look precisely at the wording you'll find that the one account rule only applies to individuals advertising for themselves or for their own businesses. This means that if you are an affiliate marketer, you CAN have multiple accounts as long as you are not advertising the same website under multiple accounts.

I personally have multiple accounts, funded from the same source, and it's never been a problem for me. I even know people who have close to 20 accounts, with no problem.
