i wounder if this tool here is really displaying search volumes for keywords made on google? although it wont display numbers, it will display if there is low/medium/high search volume. any one has any idea how much searches it requires to record the data and wont display "No Data"? also if anyone knows approximately how many searches are considered as low? https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
Actually I have wondered the same for some time - and did not find an answer.... Let's see how this thread develops...
well... its hard to tell how accurate these tools are Take this for example Google trends reports that "myspace" is search dramatically more than "mortgage" http://www.google.com/trends?q=mortgage,+myspace&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all&sort=0 However if you use the google traffic estimator https://adwords.google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox it says mortgage gets more volume than myspace
i think that's because google automatically removes "myspace" as a keyword that you can't bid on due to trade mark issues so u can't even find that keyword on the list, try other non company related keywords, results often are the same. besides, keep in mind that targeted language can't be used as 'all' while on trends it displays an over all for all languages.
