adword issues

I've got a couple of issues with google..... Why do they care if my selected keywords aren't getting a click through rate of above 0.05%.. I know they want as many clicks as possible, but come on the keywords i've selected are relevant to my website and my ads! and they keep slowing it costing me 5 bucks every other time. Besides making that cheap 5 dollars all thier doing is making me consider another program. Three weeks ago I had a keyword list over 100 keywords long, all relevant to my website, this week due to their automated system i've had to remove over 90% of those keywords and i'm down to 10 that never got clicks before, and still aren't getting clicks. The real killer is I'm not competing against anyone else in these keywords..... you'd think they'd take what they could get with those keywords.....

    grrr!

The main idea of AdWords programs is not to earn as much money as possible (at least this is the philosophy), so even your keyword and webpage must be relevant for users, maybe they are not really interested.

My suggestion will be to check your ad text, and try to change it, it looks users are not getting interested by your ad.
Also you can try to make your keywords more specific, maybe using "keyword relevant" to make your ad appear in more specific searches.

With as much information you provide, I can not help you much.

But don't get angry with them, because even this can happen very often, you are plenty of resources to achieve a good CTR if you work hard on it.

The reason behind it is to try to encourage people to deliver ads that are relevant to what the searcher is looking for. Without this feature, you would be getting Viagra ads in the top spot no matter what you searched for.

Because unrelated or poorly written ads are rarely clicked on, they are taken out of the system automatically.

Google wants to keep the ads they show relevant to users. This way they keep up the good name of their system.

it's not my ads, none have been denied to this day. It's my keywords......... they keep slowing them..... I picked my keywords because those are the keywords we've researched and are most relevant to our website yet, they keep slowing them charging me more money every time! I researched all of my keywords and didn't select any with less than 30 views a day. yet they slow them when they don't get used often enough.

Your keywords basically are your ad. Even if you have a perfectly written ad for what you have on your site, if the keyword isn't appropriate (decided by searchers, not common sense) then your ad might as well not be appropriate. I'm sure you can give very good examples of words that should be exempted but the truth is, is people aren't clicking on them, why worry about having them?

The keywords I had up where the only one's getting clicks and exposure.... The one's the left alone are the ones not getting any exposures period...... My complaint is why slow these keywords down they get paid no matter what when someone clicks.... Especially since I'm the only advertiser in these keywords as it is....

The keywords need to relate to the landing page of the ad. From what I've read it sounds like yuo aim everything at the homepage with keywords that relate site-wide[/i] but not necessarily to the landing page.
