    I partially agree.

I started PPC with espotting (Now Miva) and than I went on to Overture and than I was given Google AdWords. I was told it's the toughest one. But you know what after working on it now I can say that if you know how to get revenue for customer logon to Google AdWords.

It's similar to learn any other technique you can start adding the data into a notebook before editing into an excel sheet or you can start directly writing it into an excel sheet. The proficiency comes with experience and that's what it is for Google AdWords... If you know how to do it than it’s up to you from where you want to start.

    try to use 'back-door' keywords.

for example : if you promote 'golf club membership', try to use keywords like 'free golf pdf' or some others keywords that golf player use.

A good keyword generating tool is wordtracker.com. You can try it for free.

Certainly worth a try, though the clickthrough rate won't be very good (so make sure it doesn't increase the minimum bids on the other terms).

Also, if you do this, make sure that your advert is quite specific about what you do - it's very easy to improve your clickthrough rate by making the advert vague, but your conversion rate (and cost per conversion) will suffer.

Adwords <_<, don't you also need to enter a start-up fee, go with BDV, sometimes you get free credit if you're a publisher.

Using Adwords for the first time is like learning how to ride a bicycle for the first time. At first it will be hard and it will seem like it is not a good idea but if you keep trying, you will eventually learn.

The most important thing that you need to know in order to make adwords work for you is that you need to focus on traffic quality and not quantity. Find very targeted keywords that you can bid low and you will see some results...

    Good Luck!
