It is probably because the keywords you are bidding on have high CPC. If you are budgeting at $2 a day and one of your keywords is $2, then you will have reached your daily limit after just 1 click. If the keywords are above $2 then you will obviously your ads will not be displayed for that keyword.

Bid on cheaper keywords or if you're insistant at keeping he keywords you have, you'll have to increase your budget.

Yes $2 isn't very many ads at all for high cost keywords.

No. Depending on your keywords you'll have to set the budget at least 5 to 10 times higher than what your budget it so that google will show your ads more often. The reason why you're getting such a high cost per click is because you've just started your account, and you don't have a history built up with google yet.

You need to get a good quality score by writing ads relevant to the keywords you are using so that you can get a higher click through rate (CTR). Think of your click through as your report card and your quality score as the grade on a test.

The more targeted and relevant the ads you write are to your keywords, the more likely people will click on your ad. The more often the people click on your ad, then higher your click through rate. The higher your click through rate, the lower your cost per click will because you've built up a history of clicks from writing a quality ad.

The key is learning how to write your PPC ad properly so that you get a high quality score.
