do you think that doing an adwords campaign will help get my site indexed faster?
I had heard that but I would like to know what you all think.
    Thankyou

Nope, adwords campaign wouldn't help your site getting indexed faster. But putting link in signature of busy site like this would help though.

    IMO

I don't think an adwords campaign will help you getting indexed faster. Post your site in directories or forums rather.

yup, it won't help you to be faster in the Google index, but it will help you to save some bandwith. Googlebot and Mediabot share a cache of fetched pages.

    cheers,
    Arin.

It could help for getting your site indexed the first time, if you meant increasing the frequency of indexing then the only way you can do that is by keep adding fresh content.

Apparently using AdSense forces Google to index your site, this may also be the case for AdWords after the landing page quality score update (although it would proabably just index the landing page).

I have had sites sitting not being indexed even though they are full of adsense.

i'd write to the google adsense team - you'd be surprised that a simple email can work wonders... ;)

You are saying that the adsense team will get them indexed, can you back that up with hard facts ? just curious.

The reason I let them sit there is because I did not bother with them.

To index your sites/pages you can blog them. Post links at blogger, post your sitemap.
