You set your budget per day - but they average it out over a month. On any given day you may pay up to 20% more than your daily budget, but they will even it out over 30 days.
So for a daily budget of 100 buttons, in a 30 day period, you will not be charged more than 3000 buttons.

Magda is right, although I'm not sure about this 20%. This is explained by Google somewhere. Your daily budget will not be hit exactly every day but will over the course of 30 days.

If you hit or surpass your daily budget, it is not set high enough and you are not maximizing your impressions and therefore clicks.

BTW Magda, what's the going exchange rate on buttons to dollars :)

    Just be
careful with adwords and any other ppc service... They can eat you alive if you are not careful. We just spoke with a customer that setup a new account, with his promo credits of $100. He didn't check his account for several days, and ended up spending $300. + dollars with very little return.. ($65)...

Well if you're going to start a PPC campaign from the very beginning you should keep a watchful eye on it. It's not going to be an automatic cash maker right off the bat. I ran a highly successful adwords campaign before and it takes alot to get the keywords (long and short), and also know exactly when to show your ads, when to bid higher, how much to spend per day, playing with your ad so you get a better score and lower bid. It takes alot of work and if you stick with it you'll be making good money...if you don't know what you're doing, hire someone who does.

Is there a good way to learn myself? What helped you most? A title or website? Or a friend?
