On this page http://www.webcosmo.com/listing/search.aspx?countryId=1&gId=2 I have links to all the posts. All the links go to a single page which shows the details of the link(ad posted by users). The details page has same Meta Description, Meta keywords but different titles. If I make the page have separate meta description, and meta keywords will it help me get better page ranking?? Thanks for your advice in advance.
meta description is the short description of your site.. and the meta keywords the are your targeted words in your content...
Think you misunderstood me. What I want to know is if I should set them different for different pages pulled using same program.
If you mean different Keywords for different pages, yes. There is more. Make sure header and subheader include your keyword(s) or keyword phrase. Try for 5% saturation...use keyword tools (free, use search box)) to determine which keywords and phrases are best. Then use PPC and/or articles and blogs with same keywords as page to direct visitors to that specific page (a good bum marketing strategy is 25-50+ articles, per page). BTW, well organized site...seems to be quite user friendly, nice job. Much Success, George Pierce
Just get rid of the meta description and meta keywords tags. Google will make its own description up from the content of the page.
I didn't know that. Thanks. I was thinking setting the meta description same like the title. What you guys think?
