I'm trying to buy a new work desktop. I came across with system below; as I understand it's a gaming system. I'm planning to use it for work. My workline is construction so I'll be installing some 3D design softwares. I was wondering if there will be any downsides to this system If I use this system for work?

    I'll take any advise.

    Thanks in advance.

Personally the specs look a little over powered in some areas while missing essentials in others.
For you work I would say even 1GB graphics card is enough. 16 gigs of ram is just right.

The biggest flaw I see here is the missing SSD.
A new PC needs an SSD drive! It's the biggest bottleneck in such a build.
Personally if your getting a Windows Desktop I would just put it together piece by piece. However, if you getting pre-build check out a specialized computer store.

    Best of luck.

Yeah missing SSD is the problem here. Also you will need a large monitor. As large as you can afford. 27+

I agree on the SSD. Even if it is for a boot drive at that and everything else is mapped onto the spinner, i'd still recommend the OS on an SSD.
