Advise on hosting

I'm looking for a host with unmetered space and transfer, unlimited domains/databases/emails etc with cPanel.

A host that allows WPs, Forums and image hosting sites.

I've looked at both hostgator (baby plan) and site5 (pro plan) and my needs seem to be against their terms of service. They don't allow "illegal" or "detrimental" things and marijuana is one of those things, even though it's not an illegal site, the marijuana is deem "detrimental".

I'm looking for cheap hosting too, around the same prices as those two from above. Which is around 10$ a month.

If you have any ideas or suggestions, please let me know. Thank you.

There is no such thing as unlimited space and bandwidth. I suggest you figure out some real disk space and bandwidth requirements and hopefully somebody can help you out. $10/mo is a very decent budget for shared hosting. Now we just need to refine the requirements a bit.

As much disk space and as much bandwidth as I can get for around that price. And I know it's not really unlimited, but several advertise it that way. I'm just looking for as much as I can get, consider there will be multiple domains/sites hosted through it and I want to make sure there is space and transfer for all

I strongly believe that glowhost will suit you down to the ground. many webmasters appreciate them.
They offer unlimited hosting plans and the price is reasonable..
Hope you will be glad to deal with them. good luck!

I'm not going to get into the unlimited is/isn't possible debate again, but I will say that you need to be cautious if you expect unlimited EVERYTHING is terms of diskspace, bandwidth, domains, email accounts, databases etc etc. What you're asking for is a dedicated server's worth of resources for $10 - and you aren't going to get that. Choose your host carefully, or be realistic about what you really need.

Hosting companies are businesses and they have a requirement to make a profit. If they can't make a profit from you, they won't want you as a customer. How much resources on a server costing thousands of dollars, which will last about 3 years on the frontline, and bandwidth at around $2000 per 100mbps per month would YOU allow someone to use in return for $10 per month? If you can get that straight in your head, then you can start being realistic about what to expect and what you need.

Choose a host that is recommended to you by someone you trust. If you can also reach an understanding that they will work with you if resource use gets "silly" rather than just switch you off, then that will be a bonus.

Please stop suggesting hostgator. I've already said their ToS is not what I want or need.

Ron Brown: I understand the limits of hosts etc, I'm not stupid. Which is why I stated that I was looking for the best I could get. If you have an actual suggestion, then feel free to share.

I would suggest a shared hosting package based on your needs and budget. For a small increase in the budget a VPS server would be an option and give you lots more you can do with it then a shared account. As for the TOS issues, a simple email or contact form to the potential hosting provider will let you know if they will or will not accept your site before you put in the work and they pull it or you bypass a good host because you think it will not fall under the TOS.

Seeming your needs about content, you should go with the dedicated server hosting as most reliable hosts will not offer them in shared environment.

HG and Site5 both having Apache limit, INODE restriction and CPU+Memory limit. Also such sites are not allowed on the environment. You should looking for WP hosting provider under offshore servers.

Where your website is hosted is one of the most important decisions you will make. Do not skimp on free hosting, to be a successful internet business a free host will not do.

    Don't go with cheap/free hosting.

I use Servint and Hosgator/Seo Hosting and pretty happy with their Service.

Yes, I tried tons of other hosting services, but most of them are uther crap.

Thanks to the people who actually offered information and solutions, rather than those who just tried linking me to their sites etc...

To those telling me not to go with free hosting, duh... obviously I'm not if I"m looking for a paid host...

I've now got offshore shared hosting. If I could afford VPS or Dedicated I would get it. And if the site takes off/makes a profit, I will no doubt transfer to either VPS or Dedicated as I gain income etc.
