I accidently deleted my Image folder via FTP and all my pictures and joomla icons have now disappeard.

Can someone tell me if this is right:

I found a recent backup and uploaded the image folder back to my live site.

Or should I have done a full restore of the site?

    thanks

I mean image directory, the directory that holds all the images for your site.

    you can fix it

    1. if you have image directory back up in your local system upload it

    2. if your server (ask your hosting provider) have automatic backup facility you can restore in previous update

    3. if you have joomlapack backup component installed in your joomla admin than you can reinstall whole joomla

If you are using a default template, just use your old joomla download with its graphics. Pick the folder from your download in your computer ( the one you deleted on your website ) and re-upload it to your webhosting account in the correct folder.

deploy your joomla template to localhost, find image folder then upload it to your hosting...you can see your icon again, but if you have your own image files on that folder...hope you have a backup :)
