    Hi,

I need a simple website, only a few pages at the beginning. It is a website for a removals company which will rely on orders made on internet, so the website needs to be spot on.
As far as I'm concern I would use Wordpress as I think it's very well SEOed and easy to maintain (and I can find a lot of nice and free themes).
I would use HTML ( a static website) only for faster loading time.

Please advise me what should I use... WordPress or a static HTML site?
If you could write pros and cons to each one it will be greatly appreciated.

    Regards

If you use a decent host, the difference between WP pulling content from the database, and "plain old" html won't be noticeable. At least not enough to make it a big deal.

What's likely to slow it down is a big ugly WP theme that's full of fluff :D

Whatever theme you use (if you go with WP), just make sure you look over the code and strip out any crap that doesn't need to be there.
