I have read DP's few threads, some blogs and searched the internet. Some says PR matters and Some says PR doesn't matter for Search engine ranking or for SEO. What is true?? Why?? Please advise me. Thanks all dear friends in advance.
Well the answer is yes and no. Pagerank matters because it shows an example of how much work someone has put on their site but the actual pr won't make a difference on your site. Just focus on building backlinks. It's a lot easier to learn then to explain.
Pagerank is a numerical value assigned by Google to indicate the importance of the webpage. Google ranks a site on the basis of its back links. Number of back links is very important to get a pagerank. So if you have a good pagerank you will be ranked higher in SERPs.
page rank overall game of no of backlinks so do fast link exchange program with related to your website theme and PR sites..
My answer would be that everybody is concerned about getting traffic rather than getting too much concerned about PR. Just build high authority links and you will watch increase in traffic.
Getting do-follow, anchor text (with your keywords) from sites with high PR is sound advice and strategy anyone should follow in order to get those #1 rankings!
