Advise me: I want to be a WP Power User

    Hi,

    After looking around a lot, I have concluded that I would like to use WordPress as my blogging system (I think of more as a Content Management System). So, I need to become a real butt-kicking Power User (not ncessarily a developer).

    Please point me to some of the best sites / tutorials / resources to learn more about Word Press.

    There is nothing best then wordpress.org and their tutorials/forum.

    I agree codex.wordpress.org (maybe as a resource wp-plugins.net for plugins) and of course ..Trial and Error. Set up a blog, remove the ping service and start testing things. there are ebooks out there but can´t recommand any as I have not tried them

    Trail and error. I have read a lot of tutorals, but most of them i have to screw up before i figure out what they are talking about.
    I always get it though.
