ive just recently built my first website, (www.mytvtalk.com) and ive been contacted by some one whos asking can they use some of my graphics for their website or will i make some for those in exchange they will send some web hits my way. obviously this is my first website, so i just would want to know is this a good idea to do? thanks in advance.
One thing to consider is 'how' are they plan on using your graphics. If they host it on their server, that's one thing, but if they hot-link then they are using your bandwidth. In any case, images are roughly an issue when it comes to bandwidth. I'd personally allow them, they did after all ask you unlike others who simply 'steal' content. Hope this helped a little.
I think as long as they host it on their own server you should go for it, especially if you want more traffic you should take him up on his offer
