Hi, I'm starting up a gaming ladder called "rankme". That domain is taken. Any advice for a domain I can purchase that will be close enough to that?

Try to check by adding a hyphen or digit like this- rankme1, rank-me.

Hi, I have already tried the hyphen. I want this to be a professional site, won't a number tarnish its image?

Try the thesaurus equivalent, or you might want to ceate non-dictionay words and have a branded site.

    Examples:
    Generic / Branded
    search / Google
    auction / eBay
    portal / Yahoo
