I got the phone call and an e-mail from a guy who writes editorials for a very big Chicago newspaper and wants to buy my domain for $500. Now my blog is fairly new, has no PR and so far I have gotten 2000 unique hits from social networking sites and SEs this month. Recent Google update has gotten my blog into top 100 results for some major marketing and financial terms, some of them are on first page. Guy said he is not too interested into my content but just want my domain name. My question is should I sell my domain to him or should I ask him to offer me something in 4 digits?
Well, that's pretty good offer for a domain name. But looking at your blog, I wouldn't sell it for $500 even though the guy said he didn't interested in your content. What I do is built up the content and sell it later - if there is a good offer.
